SDG 6- The Problem
In today's time, the average person uses 135 liters of water per day, that is a staggering amount. The core problem is the amount of water wasted daily is high. According to the United Nations, 170 billion liters of water is wasted annually. If everyone started to save at minimum even 5 liters per day, that would significantly compound, drastically decreasing the water consumption yearly. If there were a platform to encourage and promote the conservation of water. Even if the daily usage of water dropped by 5%, it would save 8.5 billion liters of water. This could then be routed to other developing nations suffering from water scarcity, such as Chad, Sierra Leone, and Central African Republic, which can save lives of millions of people dying due to water scarcity.
